New Year's Day 5K and Mile Walk

Join us on New Years Day for a fun 5k race and 1 mile walk in the Coopertown neighborhood of Bryn Mawr. All pre registered participants will receive a Run With Jack T-shirt. CASH prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers as well as age group awards.

About Jack
Jack Cavanaugh was born on December 31, 2013. He was born at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and was diagnosed with a rare condition called Amyoplasia, a type of arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (or AMC). Jack has joint contractures in all four of his limbs causing him very limited range of motion. He has had multiple surgeries over the years to give him more independence. In 2018 our family traveled to West Palm Beach, FL for a life changing leg surgery at the Paley Institute. The goal of this surgery was to give Jack a better chance at independent walking. Since surgery Jack has surpassed his goal of independent waking, and is having a wonderful year in Second Grade.
